I for one am not a big fan of the solo scenes anymore. I used to collect it all just for the sake of having it, but then it all got REALLY dull.
Also, after 3 TB hard drives full of boring ass porn, I had to do something.
I find solo scenes a little better to sit through when there is SOME ass play. Honestly, unless the guy is David Beckham, or some one really famous or taboo HOT man, I could do without seeing some random bloke sitting there having a wank...most times uncomfortably.
So, if you are reading this and you are thinkng about doing a solo scene...THINK ABOUT THIS POST AND JR, AND SHOVE A FINGER OR THREE UP YOUR ARSE!!!

I agree solo scenes are boring .
However i think every porn 'star' has to do a solo as part of an audition process .
But like you say they could make them more interesting.

I agree Mike! For solo work, I always turn to YouLoveJack. Those boys are always hung, and they always show a bit of attention to their asses. I LOVE IT!
An amiable dissent in all directions. If a guy is cute, I'll watch him lick postage stamps. But if a guy is cute -- and he often is at Sean Cody -- he deserves infinitely better photography and lighting and direction than Cody has ever furnished anyone. That studio is a fine recruiter but a dreadful producer.
