How did you get into the porn business?
A Canadian producer offered to hire me and my boyfriend to make a scene together. It wasn’t a lot of money, but we were interested in the idea of being porn stars and thought it would be fun to do together. It was shot in Argentina. It wasn’t until October 2006 that I filled out an application for Raging Stallion Studios. Michael Brandon contacted me to do two movies, Bang That Ass and Mirage, and that’s when I changed my name to Max Schutler.

What made you want to get into porn?
When I was a kid I would always watch Bel Ami videos, and I wished I could see myself in those films—to be an actor and know all those beautiful boys. I thought there could be nothing better than to be having sex with all those guys and getting paid for it! [Laughs] I filled out a few applications to be a model for Bel Ami but never got a response.

You’re kidding!
No, but it’s fine. I did OK for myself. [Laughs] Today, the money and the opportunity to travel are the things that motivate me, and I also enjoy getting to know people. But more than anything it’s the money for sure.

What were you doing before you got into porn?
A lot of different things. I went to
college, but I couldn’t really finish that race.
I worked for my family’s company for a while, and later I became a waiter in a restaurant when I moved to Buenos Aires, where I currently live.

Do you consider yourself to be an exhibitionist?
Yeah, I guess I’m something of an exhibitionist. When I’m in front of the camera it’s for work, not just because I like to show myself off, and I never watch any of my movies. I don’t like to see myself in the scenes.

What do you like about performing in adult movies? What do you get out of it?
That’s a difficult question. The truth is, I’ve really never stopped to think about what it is I do like about it. To be honest, having sex in front of the camera has nothing to do with having sex in real life. It’s a job and it’s what I like to do at the moment. I always have fun on set and during the trips.

So you don’t consider porn to be a venue for you to explore some of your naughtier fetishes or fantasies?
No, not really. The fact that I do porn doesn’t really have
anything to do with that. But it is something I do in my personal life.

Are you a bottom in your personal life? Most of your appearances in movies have been in bottom roles.

Yes, they do always put me as the bottom in my scenes. I think if you compare me with some of the more “equipped” you can see why...hahaha!
